Why ROC27

What each player leaves with

ROC27 is more than ice time in front of college coaches. We aim to prepare you for what happens after the camp experience: coaches who know her name, feedback she can act on, a recruiting plan and a clear picture of what the next level demands.

She gets seen by decision makers

At ROC26, 25+ college coaches were on the ice, running drills and coaching on the bench. Not just scouting from the stands. Running seminards, working with players, up close, for three days.

She gets feedback about her game

Every player will have access to a feedback form from the coaches. Beyond that, ROC27 is built on player-coach interaction. If access to D1 & D3 coaches is what you are seeking, you've found the right place.

She plays real, competitive hockey

College-level practices, a competitve 3v3 challenge, and 3 intense games per session. Rosters capped at 18 skaters and 2 goalies, so every shift matters and every player gets ice.

FAQ

What parents ask us

What's the difference between Session 1 and Session 2?
Nothing but the dates. Both sessions run the identical format: college-level skills practices, 3v3 challenges, recruiting and development seminars, and 3 competitive games. Pick the dates that fit your summer. The sessions share July 7, so plan around one or the other. [CONFIRM: whether players may register for both sessions]
How do goalie spots work?
Each team carries exactly 2 goalies, so goalie spots are the scarcest ticket at camp. In 2026 both sessions sold out, and goalies who registered late missed out. If your daughter is a goalie, the priority list matters most for you.
What happens if a session fills before we register?
Rosters are hard-capped at 18 skaters and 2 goalies per team, and in 2026 both sessions hit their caps. When a session fills, we run a waitlist and pull players up as spots open. Joining the priority list is the best way to register before it gets to that point.
When exactly can we register, and what does the priority list get us?
Registration opens August 15, 2026 on Teamworks, our registration platform. The priority list gets the registration link by email the moment it goes live, before we announce it anywhere else. ROC26 filled with 288 registrations, so early matters.
What should my daughter bring?
Full hockey equipment, a water bottle, a notepad for the seminars, a backpack, and any medications she needs. Her camp jersey is included and handed out at check-in.
Is this an overnight camp? Where do we stay?
No, families arrange their own lodging. We partner with Pellucid Travel for discounted group rates at event-approved hotels near Rochester Ice Center. Flying in? Rochester (ROC) is about 21 miles away; Syracuse and Buffalo are both around 80 miles.
What is the refund policy?
Cancel more than 90 days before camp for a full refund minus a $100 admin fee, 46 to 90 days out for a 50% refund, and inside 45 days there is no refund. If your daughter can't attend due to a documented injury or medical condition, send a physician's note and we issue a full credit toward any Fargo Hockey camp within 12 months, no admin fee. Full policy here.
Can college coaches actually talk to my daughter at camp?
Coaches work with every camper on the ice and in seminars. Formal recruiting conversations follow NCAA rules, which limit Division I contact before August 1 of a player's junior year. The seminars cover exactly how and when those conversations can happen, so players and parents leave knowing the real process.
