Why ROC27

What she leaves with

Exposure

Seen by the people who decide

At ROC26, more than 25 NCAA coaches ran the practices and coached the benches. She spends three days working directly with the people who build college rosters, not performing for a scout in row 12.

Evaluation

A written evaluation from NCAA coaches

After camp, every player receives a personalized written evaluation from the NCAA coaches who watched her all weekend. Specific, on paper, and hers to train against. Video of all her shifts comes with it, through TPE.

Competition

Real, competitive hockey

College-level skills practices, a competitive 3v3 challenge, and three games per session. Rosters cap at 18 skaters and 2 goalies, so she plays real minutes in every game.

The difference

This is not a showcase mill

Plenty of camps sell exposure. Here is what that word means at ROC27, next to what it usually means.

Camp director

Greg Fargo

Head coach of the New York Sirens in the PWHL. Nearly 20 years in women's hockey, including building Colgate into a national contender before taking over the Sirens bench. The coaches come to ROC because Greg asks them, and they trust how he runs a camp. That is the whole pitch.

The 2027 staff

Being confirmed now

The 2027 coaching staff is being confirmed right now. Each school is announced on this page and on Instagram as it commits. Last year is the best preview of who shows up.

FAQ

What parents ask us

When can we register?

Registration is open right now, by position (forward, defender, goalie), on our Bauer Hockey and Teamworks store. The early rate of $645 per session holds through November 30, 2026, then moves to $695. Both ROC26 sessions sold out, so earlier is better.

What's the difference between Session 1 and Session 2?

Nothing but the dates. Session 1 runs July 5 to 7 and Session 2 runs July 7 to 9, with the identical format: skills practices, the 3v3 challenge, seminars and three games.

How do we pick between Session 1 and Session 2?

Pick the dates that fit your summer. The two sessions share July 7, so a player attends one or the other, or registers for both sessions for two full sets of games, seminars and evaluations. If one session fills first, the other is the same camp.

How do goalie spots work?

Each team carries exactly 2 goalies, which makes goalie spots the scarcest at camp. Goalies register through their own position link on the store. Both ROC26 sessions sold out, so if your daughter is a goalie, register early.

What happens if a session fills before we register?

Rosters are hard-capped at 18 skaters and 2 goalies per team, and when teams fill, the session closes. We run a waitlist and pull players up as spots open, but the reliable move is registering while spots exist.

What should my daughter bring?

Full hockey equipment, a water bottle, a notepad for the seminars, a backpack, and any medications she needs. Her camp jersey is included and handed out at check-in.

Is this an overnight camp? Where do we stay?

No, families arrange their own lodging. We partner with Pellucid Travel for discounted group rates at hotels near Rochester Ice Center. Flying in? Rochester (ROC) is about 21 miles from the rink; Syracuse and Buffalo are both around 80 miles.

What is the refund policy?

Cancel more than 90 days before camp for a full refund minus a $100 admin fee, 46 to 90 days out for a 50% refund, and inside 45 days there is no refund. A documented injury or medical condition, with a physician's note, earns a full credit toward any Fargo Hockey camp within 12 months. The full policy is here.

Can college coaches actually talk to my daughter at camp?

Coaches work with every camper on the ice and in the seminars. Formal recruiting conversations follow NCAA rules, which limit Division I contact before August 1 of a player's junior year. The seminars cover exactly how and when those conversations can happen, so families leave knowing the real process.
